Graduate Home - Furnishing & Remodel

August 2007

Six of our Novokuznetsk children recently finished grade school and were forced to leave the state orphanage, with no place to go.  We are grateful to a local charity called "Heart to Heart" who took in these children, placing them in a large apartment with a resident supervisor and caretaker.  The apartment however was old, very basic, and poorly furnished.  Thanks to the continued generosity and care of Ernst & Young - Moscow, and to the care of Mr. Peter Reinhardt, we have been able to address the critical needs of our "graduate home," providing some essential remodeling and adequate furnishings.  The remodeling included a complete reconstruction of the bathroom and all new fittings.  The living and sleeping rooms received needed repair work, carpeting, and curtains.  Furnishings included a new couch, dressers for each of the two sleeping rooms, study desk, bookshelf, and mattresses.  Thanks once again to Ernst & Young - Moscow for continuing to care for our Novokuznetsk children!
