Pamunugama children's home is a beautiful masterpiece of colonial-era architecture. However, time has taken its toll on
the cosmetics of the ancient structure. OSI has funded and overseen the complete refurbishment of the front portion of
the building, including the giant veranda, front porch area, exterior walls, and the interiors of the two front veranda rooms.
Restoration included structural repairs, replacement of plaster as needed, repair of period architectural features, and
painting.
