Once again, our dear friend right here in Sri Lanka, Sharmila Cassim, provided an unforgettable day for our Wattegama children during their August school break. Taking a bus to Colombo, the girls visited the impressive Dehiwala Zoo, followed by a fun lunch at a unique playground-cum-restaurant, followed by our second trip to ExcelWorld amusement park.

Our Day

We left Wattegama home at 4:00am for the 4-hour ride to Colombo, returning at 9:00 in the evening, -a long and fun-filled day that the kids will not soon forget! Below are some photos to share the day.
